Making the cut...

The day has come...Ok fine, I rescheduled the appointment three times but today is the day we cut Jaxon's beautiful long hair off!!! He is so handsome and LOVES his new look. When asked what he likes the best about the haircut he said "My hair doesn't even get static-y on the slides anymore! Now daddy and son are matching and both have very short hair:) Don't even ask about Jace, he is my baby and I'm keeping his hair long forever! I posted before and after pictures.

Turning 25..again

I know it's horrible but this week Jaxon loves to tell people he meets about my birthday and for some reason he usually proceeds to tells them I will be turning 25 (just like he did last year) and I'm a little soft spoken so sometimes I don't speak up and I just go with it....hehe. Dinner dates this week with all the parents:) Yay for lots of leftovers and no cooking! I am missing Zane today on my b-day and that's a little rough but if I save him some of Jaxon's rattlesnake that he orders I wonder if it will keep until Christmas?

Halloween-a-thon...

My little bumble bee, Obi Wan Kenobi and I had a blast at the fall festival at Colina with all our school friends and families. They played games and danced and then crashed out hard on the way home:) We also had a party at Lifetime with a petting zoo and bounce house! The mistake I made there was letting the kids into the "children's" haunted house and ended up carrying both boys and both bags of candy and somehow coming out with gum in my hair! Haha, never a dull moment:) Later that week we stopped by grandma and grandpa's for a photo session and then onto the main event! Our Church puts on a huge carnival every year for Halloween and we 'trunk or treated' the rest of the night away and came home with way too much candy. Some people said they would keep their favorites and toss the rest but what if I (I mean we) like it all???

Zane leaves for boot camp!

Saying goodbye last night was not as hard as I thought it would be....it was harder:( I just couldn't let go of his hands. Thankfully the boys were there with me so I put on my "Mommy's okay" face and we left the hotel with my sunglasses on ( at night) and brave face that I knew wouldn't last long. We get to talk on the phone for another day between classes and then he will be on his way to Georgia. It's funny how I already feel so far away from him. Even though I am 100% beside him in this decision and I couldn't be prouder in the Man that he is, nothing can ever fully prepare you for a change like this. I will stay true to the army wife creed and stay strong for my family and my country.

One last trip!

Our last trip before the BIG goodbye was AMAZING!!! We are so thankful to the Bunger family for letting us enjoy their beautiful beach front condo on Mission Beach. We all had the time of our lives and we made some great memories that will stay with us through the time apart in the next few months:) We visited Legoland for my crazed lego fan (Jax) and it was so fun to see the boys reactions to well..everything! Then of course the Beach everyday and lots of time just hanging out watching sunsets and enjoying the time we had together. The weather was fantastic and we soaked it all up!
